Weed Wacker Aviation was founded in 1998 by Sam and Ben Showman as a front for their efforts to undermine the AMA (R/C club).  It was never intended to be a commercial entity or to provide any products or services. Consequently, most of its funding has historically been from donations made by Homer's Happy Hog Farm.

     Today, Weed Wacker Aviation is a full blown intergalactic company with an annual budget of $500.  The company's chief assets are its Apple IIe mainframe computer, a 15x20-foot warehouse, an 800x20-foot runway, and an old beater airplane called the "Weed Wacker Plane."
